But the really exciting news is they picked Stacey Ellenwoods photo. She is a very new tallent in photography and I am her mentor. The photo she won with was taken at the Big Horn Mountain Workshop that we did at Spear-O-Wigwam this last summer. I look for exciting things to come from such a tallented photographer.
Hopefully now you all can post comments. I am still working out the bugs.
ReplyDeleteHi, Diana...So happy they selected your photo. I love the way the rainbow seems to gather the tepees together; the colors are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, too, to Stacey Ellenwoods on her photo being picked. It took a keen eye to capture that image!
Also, I take notice that both of these photos are a testament to your character, Diana. It is your willingness to share your talents of ideas, wisdom, technical skills, humor, and your ability to teach others with enthusiasm that makes you such an exceptional photographer. Thank you so very, very much for bringing such beauty to my life.
Wow. Thanks so much Diana. Like rcbar commented, without your willingness to share and show me the ropes, I would not be where I am at now. Thank you. I am so looking forward to continuing the journey.

ReplyDeleteGlad I found your blog, Di!! Congrats on the Rainbow pic, it's a beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, lucky museum to get this photo for their calendar! This image is absolutely beautiful, in every way! The colors, the textures, the subject matter, the rainbow (of course), the sky, the historical quality, composition ... it is an awesome image! BTW: any of those tipis yours, Diana? I could almost smell the fire and the sage from inside ... ahhh, yesssss ... oh how I miss that ...
